Today's episode covers a pet peeve of mine for the industry. After 14+ years in a male dominated tech industry (no shade to those developers with integrity) however more often than not, I see many non-techies who have fallen victim to fear mongering tactics of developers and put in a position where they feel the only option is to pay a fortune to get their site developed, or even just get help.
Because of the unknown, deal with subpar services or continually be told "tech IS complex" and made to believe it's too hard to DIY, particularly if you are a non-techie.
I call garbage on it, and call a spade a spade.
No left-handed screwdrivers in sight!
If you are a non-techie, You most certainly can build, maintain and improve your own website. You can learn WordPress and Tech. You do have plenty of options available and this doesn't have to be a massive obstacle.
Having the freedom to make changes when you need, the knowledge to take care of your site, and ability to be able to make the most of WordPress.
I'm here to empower and guide you along the way and help make it possible for you to ditch that dodgy WordPress Developer and tackle your tech your way.
